Terminal Emulator For Mac

Re: Terminal emulation program for Mac

I have not used coolterm on the mac (haven't used a mac in years), but coolterm on windows is a great terminal program (and I have used many emulators and a few vt100s in the last 35 or so years). Do you have a problem with the usb-serial cable driver perhaps? I have had the best luck with ftdi-based cables, but have also used prolific versions.
I also use beagle-term on a chromebook; not too refined but handy and the chromebook recognizes the cable with no driver needed. Now I am also bringing my first linux-mint system to life, so will need to find a terminal-emulator/driver for that too.

Cmder is one of the most popular portable terminal emulators available for Windows OS. Apple's Terminal app on the Mac is a great tool for diving into the command line, but it isn't the only option available. The Mac Observer rounded up several alternatives to Terminal you can use.
