Ok i was told by an Apple store person that the reason I was having difficulty playing major league baseball live streaming audio on my PB G4 10.4.7 was that Windows media player was no longer being developed for mac. So yesterday I downloaded and installed from mactopia.com the flip4mac aapplication and lo and behold was able to listen to the live streaming audio without any trouble. Today was horrible, however. Whereas before Windows media player was the backbone of the mlb mediaplayer, now quicktime is. Windows media player, when it was the principle plugin for the mlb media player, at least allowed me to listen to archived games, if not very easily the live streaming audio. So I was thinking about deleting and reinstalling the flip4mac web based plugin. First of all, where is it installed. There was a folder labeled Internet plugins in Library; however, it had nothing in it, even though spotlight pointed to it as the keeper of the flip4mac.plugin file. I deleted the flip4mac player in applications as well and reinstalled the aplication, still to no avail. Can any body please help me with this situation?
